Great Southern-comfort style food. Staff was nice and there were plenty of options for all types of dietary restrictions.
We went during the Sunday after church rush. Despite this, we were seated quickly, Allison brought us biscuits and apple butter right away. And the breakfast arrived quickly. We asked for very cheesy scrambled eggs, and they prepared them just right (most places don't make them cheesy enough). The chicken sausage was a little ofercooked, but still good. The biscuits were perfect. Allison was very attentive and helpful. We'll be back!
What a gem of a dining spot! My spouse and I had the pleasure of dining here last year, and we were once again blown away by the exceptional food quality this time i brought my family of six along. Shala's service was truly unparalleled, as evident in the delightful feast captured in the photos. The portions were incredibly generous - more than most could handle, although my kids devoured them like little tornadoes . I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment and suggest requesting Shala for an unforgettable experience. Feeling so full, I could use a cozy bed right about now!
I came here on a Saturday morning around 9 am. We got in at a good time as there was no wait. I went to another location in Charlotte, so I was familiar with the menu. We had a great server, she was attentive and nice. I forgot her name, but she had dark hair and worked on June 23rd. I ordered pancakes, bacon, and eggs. I also had a biscuit with butter. Everything was good. I enjoyed the company, service, atmosphere, and food.
The food was amazing!! The biscuit was a great start to the meal. The wrap was amazing. The grits were super good they had a cheese base. The cold brew coffee the best!
Sat at counter since I was by myself. Local news on TV and good music - not too loud. Ordered a Roadrunner Juice for $5.99 with Kale, carrot, cucumber, celery, Fuji Apple and ginger. I love that Cakes are GF and made with black beans, corn meal, tomatillo salsa, sour cream, feta cheese, and red onion. I got them with a side salad. I hadn't been here in a while because there was limited GF options. I'm very impressed by the number of gluten free options.
What a fun place for breakfast (or bunch)! The vibe was colorful and bright! We had an attentive waitress and were seated as soon as we arrived! I ordered a hot tea, and the lovely way it arrived was unexpectedly lovely! Then we were given a biscuit with a side of apple butter (I had never had), can I just say AMAZING?! The biscuit was super fluffy and still warm and the apple butter was just perfect- after getting the biscuit, I wished I had ordered something other than a bacon, egg and cheese ON A BISCUIT!! Oh well, back to the gym! Yes, I ate almost all of it! The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the egg sandwich was cold. But I'm still glad we went!!
This is a nice breakfast/brunch spot over in "The Village" which is the renamed Cameron Village spot. The food is always fresh out to the table, and doesn't take stale, or like it is from the day before. If you can call ahead, make sure you do that. The place is often very busy, and the wait can be an hour or more. #521
